Bio

I am honoured to support others as a Radical Remission Health Coach—a path that began when I was gifted Radical Remission shortly after my diagnosis with locally advanced HER2+ breast cancer in 2019. That book changed my life. As I moved through treatment and recovery, I implemented the healing factors one by one and continue to live them today - while in remission - as part of my commitment to living well.

In addition to being a Radical Remission Health Coach & Workshop Instructor, I am certified as an Associate Coach through Integral Coaching Canada. I am also a Qualified Level 1 Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction,  and a facilitator of Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery and Healing Circles, the latter with Healing Circles Global.

As well, I am a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a Nationally Certified Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the United States, and a Clinical Nutritionist. I previously owned and operated a thriving TCM and clinical nutrition practice in California, where I worked with a wide range of patients seeking integrative, whole-person care. My professional career began in the corporate and securities law field as a lawyer at a major Toronto law firm and General Counsel for a Toronto-based public company.

As part of my healing journey, I came to realize that even the very best of herbs, treatments, and nutritional strategies couldn’t fully support my recovery if my body was locked in a chronic stress response. So I turned to mindfulness - not just as a tool for stress relief - but as a way to reconnect with myself, my body, and my inner wisdom. Through practice, I cultivated the capacity to connect inward with greater kindness, knowing, and presence. That shift has become foundational, and now deeply informs the way I support both myself and others.

Like the clients I now work with, I sought an active role in my healing. My background in TCM encouraged me to think outside the box and to stay open to possibilities beyond conventional care. For this reason, I gravitated toward an integrative approach for my treatment and care—drawing especially on naturopathic oncology—to use targeted herbs, supplements, and nutritional strategies to support my immune system, synergistically complement  my conventional treatments of surgery, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and help my body get and stay healthy. I have been deeply influenced by the work of Dr. Neil McKinney, whose text Naturopathic Oncology remains an important resource for me, and by Jane McLelland’s innovative approach to blocking cancer pathways.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, or exploring how to stay well long after treatment has ended, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can explore what it means to live the healing factors in your own life—in ways that feel grounding, empowering, and true to who you are. If my path resonates with you and you think we might be a good fit to co-create your next steps, I invite you to reach out. We can explore how to integrate the Radical Remission healing factors into your life, bringing forward your unique strengths, and build a personalized plan for healing and well-being.
